Our Story

Founded in 2009, jolly-elm emerged from a simple observation: talented individuals passionate about television often struggled to gain practical experience needed to enter the industry.

Our founders, themselves veterans of major UK broadcasters, created a training environment that bridges the gap between enthusiasm and employability. Over fifteen years, we have refined our methodology, always staying current with evolving broadcast technologies and industry practices.

Today, we operate from a purpose-built facility in central London, equipped with professional-grade studios and edit suites. Our graduates work across the spectrum of television production, from national news programmes to entertainment shows and documentary filmmaking.

Our Core Values

These principles guide everything we do at jolly-elm

Practical Excellence

Theory matters, but hands-on experience transforms knowledge into capability. Every programme emphasises doing over merely watching.

Industry Relevance

Our curriculum evolves alongside broadcasting itself. We teach techniques and technologies that production companies use today.

Individual Growth

Small class sizes ensure personalised attention. We identify each student's strengths and help develop areas needing improvement.
